Menopausing Buzz is a blog that chronicles my journey through the peri-menopause transition to menopause. As an endurance athlete and someone who feels very in tune with my body, I completely missed the signs of peri-menopause. I struggled with extreme skin conditions, overwhelming fatigue and brain fog (the fog hasn't entirely cleared!), UTI's, and insomnia which exacerbated the situation. I fall into the Full-Throttle Menopause Type outlined in Dr Heather Hirsch's book, Unlock Your Menopause Type, a great first resource to get you started.
Anyone struggling through the plethora of symptoms that accompany peri-menopause. Anyone looking for a voice that resonates with their experience or for resources to help self advocate in the medical arena.
